About her
I am open and honest. I try to be positive in all situations, and dislike a negative outlook in anyone. Friendships are extremely important to me. I care passionately about protecting wildlife and the environment, and support related charities and groups. Homelessness and poverty are also issues I care deeply about as having my own home has always meant a great deal to me. I love my dog to bits. I enjoy socialising, going to films and plays, and I relax by watching TV, reading or doing cryptic crosswords (while consulting the answers). I enjoy gardening and creative writing (one day I'll finish my novel!); visiting art galleries and historic sites and buildings (especially if there's a tea room!) - I'm interested in local history wherever I live and have always loved learning. I grew up in Surrey and as an adult I have lived in Sussex, Hampshire, London and Australia (NSW coast, Sydney suburbs; Melbourne). Apart from living in Australia in the 80s, I have enjoyed travelling and would like to do more.
