Well educated, humorous, affectionate, a little shy, fond of animals. Brought up partly in Latin America.
I live in a quiet Devon village within reach of the sea and the moors, and my walks are a daily highlight. I've always been an avid reader, and had a career as a book editor, but art comes a close second. My current enthusiasm is for creating etchings, mainly of the South Hams landscape.
Not much of a party animal, I prefer one-to-one conversation, and enjoy hearing other's stories about life, whether tragic or comical. Widowed in 2022, I have learnt to be pretty self-sufficient (I'm not afraid of DIY, for example), but I miss sharing adventures and everyday events with a significant other.
