Happily retired from a crazy busy career in the corporate world. Lucky to have worked in the USA and across Europe. So fairly well travelled and worldly.
My ‘giveback’ has been through various volunteering roles. I’m currently involved with a local fundraising project.
British born to European parents and thanks to them I am grounded, kind, compassionate and grateful as well as being eternally optimistic and positive (very helpful when on a dating site). I should be trilingual, but sadly not, so I am currently a fervent Italian Duolingo student!

I am definitely sociable and I love to spend time with friends, whom I am so lucky to have a great ‘bunch’ of, but they can’t completely fill the gap of not having a loving mate.
Keeping body and mind in good shape is important to me. I walk, swim and do yoga, plus I am an occasional enthusiastic amateur golfer and tennis player. Dancing is a passion, modern jive or just boogying around the kitchen.
I love most music and the arts. Occasionally I tread the boards myself (local theatre group), but spend much more time going to local and London theatre, concerts, cinema etc. I have also set up a music club in my village.
My friends describe me as good company, kind and generous with a calm, fun attitude to life. Good cook and very organised! I think that’s a compliment?!
Sadly I don’t have children, but love spending time with young people. The upside is that I have very little baggage or ties. So have lots of time and the resources to have a life full of adventures, big and small….. so please whisk me off this dating site.
