About him
My friends would describe me as loyal, trusting, hard working with integrity, and with a dry sense of humour.
I love the outdoors, pets especially dogs, good food and wine, playing tennis and watching football, rugby and F1.
I'm happy when in the countryside, Lakeland Fells, Yorkshire Dales and on coastal walks. I also enjoy wandering around museums, art galleries, hilltop villages and along sandy beaches.
In retirement, amongst other things, I'm keen to see much more of Britain & Europe ideally by road trip as I love driving. I'm especially fond of the Greek Isles and Italy however would love to explore more of France, Austria and Switzerland.
To keep fit and healthy I play a bit of tennis which I love (I have a wicked back hand slice) and enjoy walking in all weather's!
To relax in the evenings I'm quite happy to watch a good netflix movie or drama, with a nice glass (or two) of wine.
I've nearly always kept a black Lab or two, unfortunately without just now, however intend to get a pup later this year so if you're a fan of dogs even better.
Recently separated, I'm looking to find a lovely lady to share the future.
Although in Inverness just now, I'm going to be spending the next good few months in Northants preparing a house to sell after which any location to live is an option.

My ideal partner would ideally share some of my interests and likes, however would have her own interests and hobbies too. Someone who is fun to be with, easy going, yet with a zest for life and who values family and friends. I'll know when I've met my match because simply I won't ever want to be apart and when we are, I can't wait to see you again.
If you are not averse to the occasional camping trip in fine sunny weather by the coast or in the countryside, that would be great. Alternatively a cosy cottage with log fire in the Lakes or Yorkshire Dales would be just fine
