I am a bright, cultured, fit, active, amusing man with a wonderful family and a wide set of interests.
I went to state and private schools, and have a degree in English Literature from Newcastle University.
My first career, for 27 years, was in HR, almost entirely in compensation and mostly within investment management. I then worked as a teaching assistant for 16 years and have now retired.
I have three fantastic children and a granddaughter, to whom I am extremely close and with whom I thoroughly enjoy spending time.
My interests include: a range of courses at a local education centre; amateur dramatics - or community theatre, as we must now call it - watching football; walking; art; concerts and theatre.
