About her
I'm an independent, intelligent soul, a deep and philosophical thinker. I can be very silly in a Monty Pythonesque way.
I have some big passions ....playing fiddle (mainly sessions with the occasional gig thrown in) and I'm always trying to develop my playing, working on rhythm which is a staple of traditional celtic music. I live on a hill and have cultivated the least hilly part of it (!) for growing fruit and veg along with herbaceous perennials. It is a work in progress - rather like painting the Forth Bridge:)
I work in academia as a researcher in the field of dementia care and with particular methodological interests.
I've recently restarted Tai Chi after a 25 year break🤣 and it's been quite a revelation in the most positive sense! I love walking and have done a lot of mountain and hill walking in North Wales, plus some long distance walks. I'd like to do more.
I love travel and have a love for Nordic countries and culture.
My absolute bottom line is that I'm on a spiritual path - not religious although I feel religions can perhaps be gateways to deeper spiritual understandings...but then again so can music and art and Nature and silence and philosophy and.....

An aware (conscious) man who has a clear sense of his own spirituality. An authentic human being, who wants to make a difference and contribute to the world.
Musicality, a sense of the ridiculous, gentle and kind, intelligence and sparkle, humanity, openness, fun, deep thinking, a love for the natural world are qualities I really like. And height! (you could never be too tall).
