About her
I live in a farming village in the Northamptonshire countryside where I enjoy walking my dogs and generally being outdoors. I love being out in nature for the wildlife, the changing seasons and especially the bird song.
I have an allotment conveniently located behind my cottage where I grow fruit and vegetables and keep chickens. I take great pleasure in sharing a home grown, home cooked supper with friends accompanied by a glass of wine and lively conversation.
I chose not to completely retire and am self-employed working from home which makes for a good work-life balance. Outside of work, I enjoy rowing for exercise, comradery and time on the river. I sing alto in a mixed community choir and enjoy going to concerts both choral and orchestral. I have recently taken up modern jive dance classes which I am finding quite exhilarating! I also enjoy the cinema, theatre and reading – oh, and country road driving with the roof down.
Most of my friends are married couples or divorced ladies like me and it would be nice to have a man in my life for companionship and friendship.
