About her
I've adapted to many cultures and learnt a lot from many experiences and try to be self-aware and understand others. I've had to be quite resourceful and independant but have missed out on sustaining relationships outside work these last few years although I have a couple of good friends. I care about what is happening in the world and hope you would also try to read widely and do something to help others, not just your own family.
I enjoy a happy home life and live simply. I'm not impressed by conspicuous consumption but live pretty well with a healthy diet and plenty of exercise. I tend to work in spurts and then take a little time to visit some interesting place. I am a bit of a newsaholic and like to keep up with current events as I originally trained as a journalist. I often find I feel most relaxed with working class people - maybe that says something about my feeling an outsider, can't say why, other than that I've moved around a lot. I am quite forgiving of men these days as life is hard for all of us but I appreciate a generous spirit and kindness in both sexes and the attempt to work things out when they go wrong.

It is really hard to say these days because I like to think I'm open to all kinds of people but I like honest people without a lot of carefully managed persona - we all have to do that to some degree but it's good to be fairly relaxed and not be trying to impress.
Keeping a healthy lifestyle is quite important to me so I'd hope a potential partner was active and not over-indulgent with overeating or boozing. I don't tend to talk of feelings a lot but it is necessary at times although often one can show them by one's actions as well.
