Because I laugh quite a lot. I’m also a decent singer (base baritone) and sometimes sing to friends. I’m keen on cars and usually change them every year. I was the Editor of the Lavengro Press, mostly concerned with novelists. I have published several books, mostly on history. I have a library of 2,000 volumes. I am very interested in food, no doubt because my late mother was an excellent cook. I have a number of friends who I sometimes fead. Life to me is a joy.
