About her
I like romance, but any relationship should start as friends. I want my partner to be my best friend, whom I can relax with and be silly with. I don’t take life too seriously but I’m kind, empathetic and care deeply. I am quite shy so I like to be introduced slowly, please don’t ask for my number or give me yours on your first message. I need to talk on here first to get comfortable with you. Once I know you, I can be quite vivacious and confident.
I hate heights and don’t do theme parks. I dislike being dropped. But I like a good hike, up a gentle mountain, and I love chairlifts, which is weird.
My favourite thing to do is a pub meal, a walk, go to the theatre and talk into the night. I love a cosy night in with a curry and a good film.
I’m a widow - my husband died a year ago, my dad died 8 months ago.
I worked as a teacher, been a Head, Deputy and an Inclusion manager, now run my own business as semi retired in special educational needs. Started in Primary schools, now work with adults and children across the age ranges.
I’m musical- singing , play piano and guitar.
I love embroidery and cross stitch
I love antique shops, second hand book shops, craft fairs and afternoon tea. I do love a nap but don’t do this daily.
