About him
After a long happy marriage. I have been alone for some time. My past very active life has taken its toll physically and I bear the scars and dents left by that life proudly and would do it all over again.
For many years I worked as a senior executive for an international retailer. During that time I was also a senior rugby club player. When my company decided to leave the UK. I took the opportunity to realise a dream and follow a more creative life. So I trained as a Master wood carver and craft leather worker. Working free lance for the last thirty five years. Recently I was described as the oldest hippy they knew minus the hair. In truth in an old fashioned way , I am.
I see humanity as just a guest on our planet. If we harm it too much it will evict us. I am no eco worrier just a realist.
Am I a hippy ? Possibly. Am I a free thinker ? Hope so. Loyal ? Yes. Sensitive? Try to be. Honest? Yes.
Optimistic ? Try to be . Grumpy ? Has been know lol. Wise ? Probable not always. Passionate ? About the people I care about and my craft, definitely.

Having become unintentionally a bit of a loner it is time kick start my life again. The flame still burns so time to turn it up .
I find the people I get on with the best, are people not afraid to take on new ideas and have a well developed sense of adventure. I have always been unconventional in life. So I could not see myself enjoying time with someone not open to new ideas. My formative years were the early sixties. I was at wood stock and I did roll in the mud. Those days never really left me. So someone to share that would understand why in mid life I took the opportunity not to have a mid life crisis , but rediscovered my need to creat and lived my passion. The right person would want to share in burning our flames a little brighter again together.
