About him
Hi, I’m Michael, I would describe myself as a happy, fun loving person with a keen sense of humour, I believe life is for living and I enjoy taking any opportunity to experience different things. Well, you only get one chance at this, so you may as well make the most of it.
My first love is photography, which I was lucky enough to work with for many years before I retired. When this was work it would involve photographing people at weddings and portraits, but more recently I have taken to landscapes, especially enjoying dramatic Scottish scenery.
My hobbies are fly fishing and, travelling by car, motorhome or motorbike and since I got my motorhome, the place I love to visit is Scotland, I enjoy exploring this beautiful landscape and now get out and about on my pushbike, with a bit of electric assistance these days. :-)
I’m looking for someone to share some of life’s experiences with me, someone who may want to share some travelling or other adventures, and they need to enjoy having fun. In summer I like to go away for several weeks, well it is a long way up to Scotland. Always open for other ideas.
I like cooking and think of recipe’s as a guide to the finished meal, if you haven’t got an item either leave it out or add what you think will work, you never know, you may discover something new.
I’m quite a practical man who will try to mend or adapt a broken item, I enjoy the problem solving aspect of this and can turn my hand to many things. I can also laugh at things I do wrong, well I am human, so if you can’t, I’m not for you, as if you can’t laugh at yourself then your missing out.
