Intelligent, kind, caring, affectionate, quick witted woman with a zest for life and great sense of humour. I'm told I have an infectious laugh.
Passionate and knowledgeable about classical music, opera and ballet but also enjoy Motown, Gypsy Kings, 70s music and trad jazz.
Fit and healthy, I completed all 214 'Wainwright' fells in 12years, the final one on my 60th birthday.
Singing in two choirs, reading, gardening and listening to Radio 3 are important to me. I love old comedy programmes such as Monty Python and Fawlty Towers.
My outlook on life? Optimistic, hopeful, and have no intention of slowing down. Having said that, I'm just as happy curled up in front of good film or with my book.
At the moment, I am exploring Norway and have visited 6 times since August 2024. Last year, I also had a 10day trip to Austria, flying to Vienna and travelling to Salzburg and Innsbruck by train. Cruises are not for me nor are organised tours. I just need a map, a guide book and public transport to get around. I love long train journeys.
