About her
Intelligent, kind, caring, affectionate, quick witted woman with a zest for life and great sense of humour. I'm told I have an infectious laugh.
Passionate and knowledgeable about classical music, opera and ballet but also enjoy Motown, Gypsy Kings, 70s music and trad jazz.
Fit and healthy, I completed all 214 'Wainwright' fells in 12years, the final one on my 60th birthday. I'm not a runner but have recently started Parkrun, just walking, to keep unwanted pounds at bay.
Singing in two choirs, reading, gardening and listening to Radio 3 are important to me. I love old comedy programmes such as Monty Python and Fawlty Towers.
My outlook on life? Optimistic, hopeful, and have no intention of slowing down. Having said that, I'm just as happy curled up in front of good film or with my book.
At the moment, I am exploring Norway and have visited 6 times in the past year. I have also just come back from a 10day trip to Austria, visiting Vienna, Salzburg and Innsbruck. Cruises are not
for me nor are organised tours. I just need a map,
a guide book and public transport to get around. I
love long train journeys.

I have tried hard to keep my brain and body in shape and would hope that a man I may meet also enjoys a healthy lifestyle.
