About him
I hail from Somerset: a gentle and warm hearted bloke, deeply romantic and a writer. with a background as a lecturer in art and design. My work is mostly inspired by the land, especially hares. I live between a pleasant seaside town and wilderness, so connect with interesting people and animals ... and weather. Go for daily walks by the shore, even in gales, to collect pebbles to balance into wobbly towers.
My character is easy going yet fun, never been accused of being boring. Not good with falsehood, haste or hedonism, and tend to shy away from axe grinders.
I always look for the positive and am attracted to open folk. Not photogenic, and better in black and white, unable to make a passable selfy, but have included some recent artwork. Have been told i'm a sigma male; not sure whether that's a compliment.
Favourite film; Hot Fuzz - it was filmed where I come from ! Like exploring places with genius loci, daft or deep conversations, nattering in an ambient cafe with a friend ... and my bijou garden where a pair of ravens visit every day.
