About her
I am a medic. I retired from the NHS in 2020, but I still have a small private practice. I have a wide range of interests, and continue to be involved in projects I couldn't achieve while working full time, as well as teaching and training.
I am a widow and I miss the companionship of a long term partner and would like to meet someone to share my life with. I live in a draughty old Victorian Villa in West London but would be happy to move if I met the right person.
I enjoy good food and good wine. at home or out and about. I enjoy trips to the theatre, art galleries and long walks. I dabble in the world classic cars and enjoy a bit of vintage style. I love travelling and have travelled widely but there are still plenty of places on my wish list. I prefer to visit cities and/or explore the countryside. No beach holidays for me, I am too fair and don't have the patience to sit around doing nothing, although I love a good book. I prefer the mountains to the seaside and still ski regularly.
I am a generous host, I enjoy entertaining and I am a good cook, or so I am told.
Family is important to me. I have 2 sons, both married. I have 2 gorgeous grandchildren I love to visit.
I am an animal lover, I have a bouncy cockapoo who keeps me fit and a very timid cat who hides as soon as anyone comes in.

I am looking for someone with a sense of humour and an outgoing personality. Ideally they would share some of my interests but could have interests of their own I hope we could enjoy theatre trips, the occasional meal out and long walks together. I have not travelled much recently and I would love to travel more if I could find the right travelling companion
