About her
As someone who usually places the focus on others this bit, writing about myself, doesn’t come easy. So I asked my kids to help and this is what they said: ‘she’s a free spirit and doesn’t take herself too seriously’ ‘she has a happy knack of being there when you need her’ and ‘she’s funny, self-deprecating and creative, she designs and makes her own clothes (and some of ours), paints her own wall art, has recently renovated her own kitchen, is learning the violin from scratch, (scratch being exactly the right word), listens to all kinds of music - except jazz - and rarely watches the TV. We’d like to see her pick up with someone who can accommodate or better still share in her quizzical approach to life’.

I’ve had an interesting career as a Press Officer and Head of Marketing but now semi retired and helping run the family business.
On a day to day level I like to keep it simple - a bit of swimming, gardening, reading, cycling, looking after my classic car all of which I am happy doing in my own company. Then there are the things like road trips, exploring, seeing the sights, picnics in daft places, doing the back streets of London(or any place) and going to the pub that are best done in like minded company.
This is where I would like to start. I have no idea where it will end.

The company I imagine I would most enjoy is that of a fellow creative, but I might have that all wrong, opposites complement each other too. I imagine you will have a professional background, be well mannered, warm hearted with an irreverent, able to see the funny side sense of humour.
