About her
Fairness and honesty are important to me and for me are the foundation of any relationship. Ideally we should have similar values if not interests. I have lots of interests but the most important to me is wildlife/nature and animals.
I love socialising and am chatty once I know someone and thoroughly enjoy a good discussion as well as a laugh with friends.
My friends and family are great and I feel very fortunate.
I retired from being a teacher in Special Education but still find a few hours to work and volunteer.
I love to explore new places though being in the countryside listening to the breeze rustle in the trees or the waves crashing on a beach will always be my favourite places. I am hoping to complete the NC500 in the near future, with the dogs for company of course.
I appreciate that I have a good life so all I want now is someone to share it with. ;-)

My ideal match would be open minded, compassionate towards others, intelligent (not necessarily 'educated') and enjoy a good discussion and have a good sense of humour. After all, it's what gets us through. An appreciation of the outdoors and caring for animals is important. Hunting or right wing politics would be a deal breaker. Someone who enjoys holidaying abroad and in the UK is preferable, and they shouldn't mind the company of doggy pals when in this country. Even better, they'd enjoy it. ;-)
