About him
I am still working and want to retire within the next year or so. I also have a hobby which has kept me sane for the last 35 years or so. I carve in wood and stone. I like to show my wares at wood fairs and especially like to show children how it is easy for them to do it.
I also enjoy swimming and support the National Trust, and also the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust.
I like to help people, including strangers, but especially with people I know and hopefully there may be someone out there who has a similar outlook to me.

I'm looking for someone who understands my need for my hobbies and, as well as the other things I have mentioned.
I want to meet someone who is happy in their environment and not just tag along with me. I want them to be happy with me and me happy with them.
I want to love going to places with my someone. I like to find out as much as possible about where we go and see how much she knows about it as well.
