I like to think I am a sensitive, genuine, uncomplicated guy.
Try always to to treat everyone in a caring, honest & truthful way. One of my life joys has been meeting & getting to know people be it at work, casual or personal, I am quiet by nature & a romantic at heart.
My lifestyle is a busy one, keep fit with daily exercise & a healthy diet. I have 3 adult children with 7 Grandchildren & 1 Great Grandson. I see them on a regular basis & help look after the 2 youngest on 2 afternoons. This will change as they grow & start main schooling.
My sport was Archery but had to give it up with a frozen shoulder & now play indoor bowls 3 times a week. I have just signed up as a charity shop volunteer. One of my recently discovered joys is Drawing & Painting, not too bad but developing.
My main weakness is "ME", I do not enjoy my own company for lengthy periods. I have deliberately packed my weekdays keeping busy, which is good & would not want to change, BUT too many evenings & weekends with just ME are not good. I really miss sharing these times with that special someone, everything from watching TV, or Card or Box Games, Quiz Nights at the Pub, Theatre Visits, Dining Out, Weekends Away, Walking in the country (I live on the edge of the New Forest), & many more together moments. Sorry if this sounds a bit selfish, it is me trying to be honest.
My Career was in Hotels & Catering, a College Trained Chef & Manager, a career which has stood me very well leaving me financially comfortable, I own my own property, small but homely..
I love all animals, used to have 3 dogs but sadly lost them all to various forms of Diabeties during the Covid Period. Still have a geriatric Cat...bless him.
Finally I should mention that I have a wicked sense of humour, irreverent at times, but humour & laughter are great joys especially when shared.
Well Ladies.....I have been totally honest & laid myself bare but, that is ME, how I try to live my life. I just hope there is someone out there who can emphasise with me.
