About her
Relaxed and warm hearted, I'm lucky enough to live in a beautiful part of the country and enjoy all that the natural world around me has to offer, from walking with my dog to the local pub, sailing, swimming or just enjoying a picnic on the beach. Sometimes the simple things in life are best. That doesn't mean I don't like the occasional blast of city life, a trip to the theatre or ballet is a lovely treat!
I'm proud to have 3 lovely grown up children (and a grandson!) who all have homes and lives of their own now. Sharing time together is important to us ,but they are happy for me to have some "me time" now and spread my own wings again.
I work full time still so am looking for someone to be around for weekend adventures - I'm not quite ready to take off around the world yet! Until then I'd love to explore more of this amazing country. I've really enjoyed visiting gardens and historic buildings recently, especially if the person I'm with is fun to be with and up for tea and cake afterwards.
I think my friends would say I'm pretty laid back and happy, with a wicked sense of humour. I'd love to meet someone who is easy to talk to, kind, compassionate and who wants a real connection. Someone to share the best years still to come

I do love a practical man, someone who can read a map and hang a picture on the wall (both of which I'm rubbish at!)It's quite easy to take advantage of my kind and laid back nature, so I need someone who is thoughtful and will consider my needs too. I'm not good with overly confident or opinionated people who like to tell me what to do.
A good day would be a walk with our dogs, a dip in the sea and then a nice pub lunch. Even better, kayaking or sailing my little boat but then you might have some great ideas too...!
