Hi there , i’m retired been on my own a few years now , I’ve just bought a small camper van , I’m hoping to go exploring , maybe not too far to begin with . I have 3 old rescue dogs , 2 cats & a few rescue parrots . I’ ve been a chef all my life , travelled a lot in my younger days … worked on a cruise ship & Australia. Then ran my own business in a tourist village . I spend a lot of time in my massive garden , I volunteer ,once a week I visit an old lady who’s nearly ninety & once a fortnight I cook at the community lunch for the oldies . This year is just flying by , before we know it we will be lighting the log burner & drinking mulled wine .

Ideally I would like to meet someone who is honest , funny , kind & interesting., someone who has some stories to tell . I haven’t got children , I was always career driven but I do like children. My real love is for animals especially rescue ones that have not had the best start in life . I’m really independent & practical , I don’t suffer fools ,I like to have a laugh & I think I need to start a new chapter , maybe by the coast .Ideally someone who is as tall or taller than myself , not too far away , not carrying excessive baggage , a new best friend … is that you ????
