About her
I am fit and active, love the outdoors (mainly when the sun is shining and it's warmer), but walk daily if possible, even in the winter. I exercise regularly and swim a couple of times a week. Animal lover and have recently adopted a 5 year old male cat. Am caring, compassionate, left leaning, great sense of humour - not keen on modern-day humour though - Morcambe & Wise, Victoria Wood more my style. Warm and friendly; my children think I'm a bit crazy! Detest exploitation and abuse of animals, children, vulnerable people - and anyone really! Very musical, was a former professional singer with pop bands, trios and big bands when younger, travelled to interesting places abroad. Also did a bit of amateur dramatics too. Currently in a musical theatre group of all ages. Love sun, sea and sand, my family and despite numerous disappointments and let-downs, mainly retain a positive but realistic outlook on life. We all need some enjoyment from somewhere or someone at some time!

Am not convinced there is ever an 'ideal match' romantically, but there can be an ALMOST ideal match.
My almost ideal match MUST be an animal lover (cats and dogs +). Someone who is caring and understanding, with a holistic outlook and Intelligent and preferably well educated, with a good sense of humour (might have to have to put up with me, my children would say!). A man who is accepting of all race and culture and none-homophobic. Someone who is comfortable in their own skin but is sensitive and empathetic towards others and has a keen sense of social justice. Prefer a man that exercises and looks after himself, but not fanatically. likes the outdoors and walks, who, like me, prefers the warmer weather. Also prefer a man that can and enjoys cooking and capable of looking after himself)! (I do and like to cook). Music in my life is essential, but my partner would not have to be a musician but have eclectic musical tastes (personally my preference is swing, modern/contemporary jazz, blues, motown, soul and of course 60's and 70's pops, but not exclusively these particular genres. If you could dance and have a good sense of rythm, then you would be my ideal! However, I am a realist!
