Bought up in Dorset, spent several years in London.. lived in New Zealand, Australia and Germany and moved back to Dorset in 1995.
Well travelled but lots still on the bucketlist. First proper trip will be back to New Zealand to meet my granddaughter, see my daughter and her fiance and give them all a great big hug. This covid hasn't played fair!! (Update... tickets booked). Son getting married in a few months which is very exciting and even as mother of the groom I am involved. Currently brewing 15 litres of sloe gin for the wedding breakfast and then making sloe gin chutney!!
Sadly my short legged 4 legged friend has recently got his wings. When I get back from NZ will start the search for another one. Used to spending a lot of time in muddy wellies but enjoy dressing up for the right occasion.
Love living in deepest Dorset but do enjoy a trip to the bright lights or last minute short haul flight for a mini break (or bigger break). Jumping on a train to Bath or London for the day for a let's just do it" day!!
Director of a company locally and also own my own company, very part time as I believe in a good work/life balance. Was a Director of 2 other companies until early 2022 but made the decision to step down.
My glass is most definitely half full and more than happy to keep topping it up!!
