Hi 😊 I’m 64 in body, early 30’s mind. I’m a mental health nurse, semi retired . Curious but not at all sure about trying out a dating site. At present I’m just looking to meet new friends so I thought why not! 😊
I am passionate about animals, any animal but especially dogs. 😊 I love nature although slight problems with walking mean I can’t go hiking anymore. I love camping, never happier than when I’m away in my tent preferably in, or close to woods. I really enjoy the peace and quiet and campers are usually a friendly sort. I also enjoy travelling at home and abroad although don’t get as much chance to do it now as I’d like. So much world out there to see. 😊
Like most people I love my family and friends. I’m a kind, loyal and honest person and those qualities are important to me in others. I suppose I’m averagely attractive. And I care not a jot about another person’s physical attractiveness or differing physical abilities. Qualities that I find attractive are those I’ve already mentioned, a gentle nature, a good sense of humour and compassion for others human, animal, environmental matter to me. Honesty, loyalty and acceptance of differences without judgement are essential to me.

For me, friendship and companionship are the things I’m looking for. I would prefer to get to know someone over time, to enjoy getting to know them via conversation and shared interests and experiences. In my romantic relationships I have always been monogamous. I wouldn’t be interested in getting to know someone who is already in a relationship with someone. The disrespect towards a partner, the lies and deceit involved in cheating, nope, not for me.
I’ve never been in a relationship with someone based mainly on physical appearance. I suppose I’m averagely attractive, not particularly fashion conscious. I’m far more interested in what’s on the inside of a person. I like a man with a good moral compass. Someone who is kind and gentle by nature, who has compassion and cares about some of the things I do. He must be an animal lover. A good conversationalist, intelligent, not so much book learning but with interesting life experiences, street smarts, curiosity and always interested in learning new things.
