About her
Hello. I'm a quiet-ish, happy, somewhat fanciful (but also perfectly capable of being serious and logical when necessary) person who would love to meet others for social activities such as coffee, conversation, dining out, movies, walks (and stopping to talk to every cat) - all that sort of thing.
As well as spending a little time most days working on an online voluntary project of a humanitarian nature, I also look after my 100 year old Auntie. These activities keep me fulfilled and happy; however I miss the face to face social companionship of nice, happy, gentle people of my own generation. I don't know all that many folks in the UK, apart from family, who are mostly located in Scotland. I was "Made in Scotland" and born in Australia, which has resulted in a tendency to wander the planet. I did have vague travel plans until the "P-word" put a stop to all that in early 2020. Currently, due to my aforementioned family commitment, adventures outside of my local area require a little advance planning, but are definitely doable. There is sooo much of the UK that I am longing to see and explore. So... get me on a train and I'll go anywhere to meet you!
