Hi. I love the outdoors; especially long walks and hikes. I'm very fond of the Peak District which I like to escape to at weekends, when I can (though I'm currently recovering from a broken knee). I also occasionally cycle.
I'm an easy going person, with a quirky sense of humour.
Music is really important to me. I like all sorts of music, especially: rock, indie, up-to-date stuff, also classical, plus soul and some blues rock too. I love dancing.
I enjoy all kinds of adventures big and small and love travelling, getting lost (geographically & in books), culture, art, museums, yoga, writing and drawing. I enjoy creative pursuits and value creativity and individualusm in others.
Things that make me smile: kind gestures, starry skies, windswept beaches, summer rain, finding that lost treasure.
My 16 year old lives with me and he's my greatest source of joy and pride. He's quickly growing into a fine young man, has recently started college and is very independent.
