Happily retired and looking for company to do all those things that work prevented me from doing !
I like visiting places everywhere...historic and architectural. I love travelling and have recently visited Japan, Jordan, Egypt and Sri Lanka to name a few. They didn’t disappoint, fabulous and fascinating countries to visit.
Oh, and I absolutely love elephants ! I’ve seen them in many different countries including volunteering in sanctuaries in Asia. I’ve got a trip planned to Kenya in Sept., so hoping to get another Elephant fix 😊
I like reading, cinema, theatre, museums, history, walking, nature in all forms, television and a small amount of DIY/gardening !
I also volunteer for a local Hospice helping out in the gardens and collecting patients which I really enjoy.

I like a strong independent lady who knows what she wants but soft and romantic inside. A sense of humour is always important, and like me, someone who doesn’t take themselves too seriously and can see the silly and obscure things in life.
Unfortunately, I’ve found that distance can be problematic, so ideally, the lady has to be fairly local please.
Sadly, as much as I love nature and most animals (not spiders), I would prefer no pets, as again, I’ve found in the past that they can be a tie to doing things….however, it’s not a deal breaker….and I do like cats ! 😀
