About her
I lead a busy and active life and would love to find someone to share it with. I like to keep fit and healthy (cycling, walking, yoga, pilates) but I can let my hair down too. Kindness and a sense of humour are the main qualities I am looking for in a partner. Chemistry is more important than a "type" for me.
I currently work part-time and hope to explore other things now I have more time to myself - maybe travel, maybe volunteering. I'm open-minded and willing to try new things (within reason).
I like to cook and eat good food and enjoy a pint or a gin and tonic. I make a good cocktail! It's more fun with company. I'm spending more time on my (small) garden these days and have plans to turn it into a little patch of the mediterranean in the city centre. In 2021 I had an excellent grape harvest. Maybe I'll make wine this year.
I enjoy singing and love a dance but I wouldn't hold myself out as talented at either activity. That doesn't stop me, I'm afraid. When circumstances allow, I enjoy live music and I have pretty eclectic musical tastes. I read widely, mostly fiction.
When I can I spend time on the coast or with friends and family. I have three grown-up sons who have homes and careers in other parts of the country and I visit them from time to time - and vice versa. They are excellent company and I'm inordinately proud of them. I have sisters and many nephews and nieces and keep in touch with them all.

I'm looking for someone to spend time with, share activities and interests and have fun with. If that leads to a relationship - that's ideal. Friendship comes first, but I'd like to find something more. At the moment I'm not thinking about anything really long distance - but never say never.
