About her
I am exuberant, and full of fun. I enjoy discovering the new and exciting. I love having friends for dinner and get a buzz from cooking tasty meals. My life has been very full, with a keen interest in the arts, theatre, painting, literature, architecture and opera. I love cruising the inland waterways, and used to sail. I am interested and actively involved with local and national politics (with a small p) and very involved with my local community. There seems to me to be no point in having lived, if we cannot leave this world just changed a tiny bit for the better. I Love my garden and keeping it vibrant although now with the help of a gardener. My home and most of all my friends and family mean a great deal to me. I have run my own business for most of my life, including over 30 years running my own inland waterway charter company. It sounds as if my life is full, but there is a difference between full, and filled. There is always room for joy. I am exploring new mediums in art, and loving it, so life's never boring! There is a firework display of new ideas. We are asked what we are looking for, looks do not really come into it for me, it is whether there is a 'meeting of minds', shared interests, not all, but some, and of course a spark that is indefinable! Warmth, kindness, a concern for others, not just friends but in the wider world, and a joy of life. To my amazement this year I have started working out on a daily basis and after many years of saying 'why' to friends I love it and feel and am ten time healthier and energised. I have also got myself an electric bike which is great fun. If you are out there I would love to hear from you! To make new friends with similar interests is always a joy, it really doesn't have to be anything more, but more would just be a delightful bonus.

A man who enjoys walking on the beach, beautiful countryside, exciting cities and grabbing the moment for new experiences.
