I love food apart from cheese.
I follow a diet based on my blood type, type A, so I am largely vegetarian although I do also eat fish, turkey etc.

About his ideal match
I am looking for chemistry, faithfulness, honesty, patience, sexiness and tolerance. I would like to dine out with you I think it is as important that you have your own friends and interests as you share mine. I was bitten on my back by a German shepherd when I was young and worked as a relief postman when I was at university so I am wary around large and small dogs although it depends on the breed, the dog’s history etc.

Ian is a great friend of mine. I value him being a part of my life and I think you'll agree with me when you get to know him. He's great fun to spend time with. In addition to a cheeky sense of humour, he can talk intelligently on any subject.
We talk about all sorts of things, philosophy, current affairs, art, history, politics, nothing is out of bounds. He's a wealth of knowledge, but doesn't consider himself to be above anyone else. This is something I really admire about him.
He's also a great listener, with empathy to spare. He is a very kind and open-minded person. He goes out if his way to help others. For those he cares about, there's very little he won't do to help.
He likes to have a laugh and doesn't take life too seriously. For instance, the first time we met, he walked into the room and proceeded to take off his trousers, I really didn't know where to look! When I dared to glance over, I realised he was taking off waterproof trousers and had a regular pair underneath. Well, it was April showers time!
Ian likes reasonably intelligent company, someone with a sense of humour and caring nature. He values non-judgmental attitudes and an ability to see both sides of a story. Ian likes to cook and eat out, he is an accomplished chess-player and enjoys nature, to mention just a few of his interests.
