I don't take myself or life too seriously. ..a day without laughter or dancing is a day half lived sums me up.
I work hard running a national charity . I respect others who have a good work ethic.
I am a social person who likes to have various groups of friends and I enjoy hosting parties.
In my work I have to do a great deal of public speaking and I also enjoy treading the boards at local theatre so I'm confident and really enjoy making people laugh and feel good. I'd love to try my hand at a serious play one day but my default is humour so might find that hard to do.
Likewise I love my quiet down time and enjoy my own company too. Reading a good book or watching old movies ideal Sunday afternoon.
I love travel and want to find someone to have more adventures with.
I have two adult children currently living at home and we all get on really well. We all respect each others space and interests so don't live in each others pockets.
I so want to get back to seeing more of the world I have an extensive bucket list of places to see.
My roots are in Ireland and during the pandemic I've been really desperate to get back to see my extended family. Family means everything to me and I count my blessings everyday that I have such a loving family.
I'm ideally looking for someone who will be my best friend. A glimpse into what I'd like my future to contain - walks in the countryside with our dogs, explore the world, cuddle on the sofa watching a film, work on DIY projects together, dance in the kitchen, trips to the theatre and most of all laughter and giggles together.
