About her
I’m quite independent and definitely stand on my own two feet, but I’m still looking for somebody to be with - companionship, love and friendship... I’m romantic but realistic at the same time, I have a sense of humour and a strong sense of the absurd and I can definitely laugh at myself.
I have a stressful but enjoyable job and my biggest stress release is music - I sing in a traditional Irish/Scottish folk band. I prefer Mick West to Kanye West, ha ha. I also enjoy the outdoors, I love the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, I love walking on the beach, in a forest or the hills. I enjoy learning languages, learning about other cultures, I'm happy to sit in a pub or go to the opera, I enjoy museums and galleries, gigs and concerts.
I love travelling, whether it's walking holidays or city breaks, exploring a new town. I've been to some amazing places, often for work in the past, going to conferences.

I'm looking for somebody to laugh with, be serious with, and everything in between. Someone who likes silly jokes as much as discussions about politics or philosophy, somebody who enjoys going on holiday to discover new cultures or go walking in the mountains, and doesn't want to go lie on a beach. I have been on my own for a long time, so I'm pretty independent. I don't want to live in somebody's pocket, I would expect my partner to also have his own life. Trust and honesty are key and lying would be a complete deal breaker for me. It would be lovely to share interests and activities such as traditional music#.
