About him
I’m a retired Met police officer and now a London cabbie, enjoying a flexible lifestyle from my cosy bachelor flat in Putney. Family means the world to me—I’m very close to my children and proud grandad to two teenagers!
A seasoned solo traveller, I’ve ticked off places like Washington DC in autumn, New York, and a Caribbean cruise. Next up on my wish list: Norway, Cape Town, and the western USA—ideally with someone special by my side.
I love walking, swimming, and sailing, especially around the Ionian and Aegean seas, as well as the West Country and Scottish coasts. I sing in a mixed barbershop chorus, which takes me away on the odd weekend for competitions and conventions.
London’s always been a passion—jumping on a Thames Clipper for a show, gallery, or dinner is a real treat. I enjoy the arts, popular classical music, and good old pop from the ’50s onward.
Life is full, but I’m still hoping to meet a vibrant, joyful woman to share fun adventures and quiet nights in.
