About him
I’ve been described as a good man, a lovely man, endearing, and emotionally intelligent. A young 69, and retired from the Met Police 15yrs ago, now a London cabbie and just moved out to Reigate and completely refurbishing my flat.
Needless to say my career path given me a lot of life experiences. Whilst i have moved out to Reigate I continue my work as a London cabbie 2-3 days a week.
I love travelling, walking, espcially up in the Dolomites close to whether my brother lives, the French Alps but equally happy in the UK from the Surrey Hills to Scottish Highlands or to UK coastal paths.
I usually get away sailing a few times a year to the Greek Islands or around the UK SW coast or Scotland with friends or groups I belong to.
I sing in barberhsop chorus's and quartets which takes me away a few weekends a year for rehearsals and conventions and occasionally as far the USA.
I love London, nights out at the theatre, cinema, and pop concerts, city breaks and country breaks especially by the coast. I'm a Devon boy but I’ve been living in London for 50yrs.
During a period of being single I decided to tick off destinations in my bucket list. I took myself off to the US to see Washington DC in the fall, the art galleries in Paris, a 2 week Carribeean Cruise and then flew out to NY for 4 days. The helicopter flight over Manhattan was awesome!!!
Next on my bucket list is winter train journey and cruise through Norway, also Cape Town, Safari and West of USA.
Do I ever sit still?, well with that special lady most definitely. Who doesnt like a relaxing cosy night with the one you love.
