About her
This - like me - is a work in progress so I’ll probably come back to amend and iterate... For the time being, and to give you a bit of a sense of me, I’ll put the following: frequently described as warm, bright, kind and trustworthy. Enough of a sense of humour and point of view to ensure I’m not dull.
Lover of literature, theatre, ballet, opera and things generally described as ‘high’ culture (not an expression I’d use though!) but also an enjoyment of just hanging out with good friends in bars, restaurants and pubs (remember when we could do that?) chatting about the latest Netflix/BBC series though really don’t like anything described as ‘reality tv’. Not keen on narrow-mindedness, bigotry, dishonesty. Like and value kindness, a willingness to try new things and learn. Love walking and being outside especially with my dog; love the sea, Greece, Vienna, good food and decent red wine. Love my friends and family and the fact that you never know what opportunity or adventure lies round the corner or next bend of life’s windy path.
View the (wine) glass as half full and always try to look at the stars, even if it feels like my feet are in the gutter.

You view the second act as having potential to be even better than the first. You’ve lived enough to know what matters and when not to sweat the small stuff. You may have a bit of baggage - at this age, who doesn’t? - but you carry it lightly.
