I think I can be described as friendly and young at heart. Maybe a bit shy at a first meeting as this is all new to me but I'm sure I'd come out of my shell quite soon.
I enjoy going out for meals or just a coffee and a sandwich.
I love the hot sunny weather when I can get out in the garden to do a bit of tidying and planting but prefer to be sitting out there with a book and a cold drink if I'm perfectly honest. I love holidays abroad but would prefer not to go alone. I'm hoping there's someone out there that will find me a good companion and visa versa...

I'd like to meet someone who, like me, is not looking straight away for a romantic relationship. I'd prefer companionship - someone to meet up with, go places with and be a friend - someone with compassion and understanding and not pushy....in other words 'a gentleman'. I'm hoping to meet someone who enjoys holidays abroad as this is something I love but being widowed now it's not something I look forward to doing on my own.
