About him
I'm more or less fully retired now having had a varied and interesting business career. I'm from a professional finance / banking background and still advise a successful local company on its corporate strategy. I was until recently its part-time Chairman. This limited work helps to keep my brain "in gear" which is so important as we come to our twilight years !
I live in a beautiful part of the UK, participate in a few sports and have a number of hobbies such as occasional golf, gardening, cinema, current affairs, my performance car, business etc. I enjoy dining out when I can and am probably a "foodie"
I also sing in a local choir - I used to do a bit of folk singing in the Glasgow area when I was younger
I was born in Scotland but moved to the Wirral over 40 years ago (agh)

I would imagine a similarly professional person who shares much of the same interests I do including a couple of nice holidays each year
I have family in Geneva and close friends in Provence, Cornwall and Scotland. It would be great to have a travel companion when I visit these lovely places
Distance is no problem for me if that "right" person is out there. I guess any initial relationship would be on a friendship basis
