About him
I love a good-natured joke at my expense. My interests are reading (thrillers and mysteries), walking, cycling, history, archaelogy, and above all classical music (l play the piano to grade 8 level). I am not very skilled at romantic gestures but I do my best!! Perhaps I am best sticking to playing you some romantic piano music. I also write my own piano music in a popular style (Elton John eat your heart out) although I leave it to others to judge its quality.. I've now been single for several years, during which time I have come to appreciate that it is necssary to share the good things in life in order to enjoy them to the full. I don't drive but I neverthleless love to travel (e.g. Egypt and Jordan). On the whole, I prefer holidays that involve visiting sights of special historic interest, but I also enjoy sun, sea and sand. I have two great teenage children.
