About him
So what can I say?. Well, I am easy going, have a good sense of humour (so I am told). I can be both sensitive and serious, try to see what is important in life and see the best in folk. Life needs to be enjoyed and memories made.
I have a sense of adventure, having cycled across the USA and extensively in Europe, skied, walked in the Alps numerous times including from Mont Blanc to Matterhorn twice by different routes, and have run competitively throughout Britain, France, Switzerland, Italy and Austria. Ideally I would like to go on further expeditions and would like to share these and other experiences with others. I am more at home out exploring than when at home it seems. Some would say I am more like a dog, needing constant exercise, running around doing pointless things (in their minds) before curling up beside the log fire.
I do not believe that once you reach a certain age that you need to put your feet up, get the dog to bring you your slippers and smoke a pipe whilst watching tv. Young at heart most definitely.
Outside of work my main interests are cycling, walking, gardening (when being allowed by my cats) and when I can, helping to train search dogs for mountain rescue, taking them from raw recruit creating havoc to totally reliable graded search dog out looking for missing persons.
Regarding music, listening to classical music, some instrumental, some folk but open to other.
Pet hates - having others loud music being imposed on me; swearing, litter and wasps....oh yes....definitely...wasps!. Then there are seagulls..........

Needs to be someone with good sense of humour most definitely, easy going, adventurous, keen and active outdoor person. Someone who is reliable, honest, generous, generally happy and sees the best in others. Someone who enjoys a good meal and perhaps a glass of wine after a good day out and/or when it is dark, wet and windy outside. Someone to have fun with and just enjoy each others company.
