About her
I live in Spain and worked here for more than 30 years until I retired, but I often travel to the UK and when I win the lottery will have an apartment in London and a house somewhere in Yorkshire as well. I am a big fan of the Open University and aim to do more courses in the future - education is wasted on the young, they should give any grants to me! At the moment and in my spare moments, I am doing some art history courses and writing some things for a charity I'm involved in. Next might be more history, unless this site comes up with some chemistry to fill my spare moments :)
I think I am kind and considerate, family-loving, humorous, easy-going and tolerant, but not of bigots, non-feminists and other intolerable types.
I like classical music (I heard about this site while listening to Classic FM) and various other sorts, but not jazz, and reading - novels and non-tabloid newspapers. Films... feel-good, period dramas, no violence, particularly not of the gratuitous variety. I don't watch a lot of TV but try not to miss Have I Got News for You and Would I Lie to You? Mostly I listen to Radio 4 podcasts in the car - favourites are The News Quiz, The Media Show and The Moral Maze.
PS I never buy lottery tickets, but I am an optimist....

I would like to meet someone intelligent and kind, fun-loving, outgoing... someone who doesn't need to be told when I am joking, someone who will make me laugh (someone who loves doing other people's DIY and fixing other people's PCs would be good too! I can do those things but I'd rather not). Not a jazz fanatic because I don't like jazz. I would just like to meet a man to enjoy life with!
