About her
I’m 62, energetic, curious and excited about the next chapter. After a long and fulfilling career as a GP and dermatologist, retirement is on the horizon, bringing the freedom to pursue more of the things I love, and hopefully to share them with someone special.
I’ve been lucky to have an amazing career caring for people, but my greatest pride is my family: three grown-up children, all happily married, and a growing collection of grandchildren. Family is important to me, though everyone has their own busy lives, and I’m equally comfortable setting off on adventures of my own.
I like to keep active and make the most of life. Last year I went trekking in Nepal, and there are plenty more adventures on my list. Whether it’s walking, skiing, sailing, exploring the British coastline, or discovering beautiful gardens around the country, I’m happiest when I’m outdoors and on the move. Devon and Cornwall are particular favourites, and with retirement approaching I’m open to a move closer to the sea.
When I’m not exploring, you’ll find me gardening, attending ballet performances, enjoying classical music, or playing the piano. I value good conversation, laughter, kindness and making the most of every day.
I share my life with Digsy, my loyal little dog and constant companion, who keeps me company on walks and generally supervises everything I do.

I would love to meet a kind and emotionally grounded man who is still curious about life and keen to make the most of it. Someone active and fit in outlook, who enjoys walking, travel and the outdoors, and is just as happy exploring a coastal path as sharing a relaxed evening together.
A good sense of humour is important, along with warmth, generosity of spirit and the ability to enjoy both conversation and comfortable silence. I admire someone who has lived a full life, but still feels there is more to discover.
Family is important to me, and it would be lovely to meet someone who values theirs too, while also having space for a new companionship of his own.
Above all, I am looking for good company, shared adventures, and the possibility of something meaningful growing naturally over time.
