I work full time and live with my 15yr old twins. My job is responsible, busy, interesting, sometimes stressful. It’s time for me to connect with someone for laughs, stimulation, support, good conversation, companionship, travel, fun. I am always reading, mostly fiction - love Ann Cleeves / Garry Disher / Kate Atkinson / Nina Stibbe / Simon Mason. And listening to music. Currently enjoying ‘the rest is entertainment’ podcast. I also like catching up with friends, walking (going on a walking holiday in Tuscany this year), keeping active (not quite enough), watching telly - just finished Stranger Things with my kids, currently watching How to get to Heaven from Belfast; loved Shrinking / Nobody likes this / Lasso. Slightly terrified by the current world, but I tend to be optimistic (perhaps naively - or hopefully). Liberal leaning. I don’t drink much these days but enjoy a glass or two of wine occasionally.

My ideal match would be down to earth, smart, hopefully make me laugh, be supportive, be genuine. Have learned from life so far. Not hate (all) popular culture. Enjoy small adventures (and maybe occasionally large). Be happy with the mundane of real life. I would struggle with someone who smoked.
