About her
Having been single for a number of years, I’ve decided I am ready to meet a special someone to share the adventures that come with this part of life. I have an adult daughter who lives with me and an elderly dog. I see the good in most things and situations, often the one laughing when I probably shouldn’t be! I love music, walking, sunshine, dogs and my family and friends are very precious to me. I love history and enjoy researching places before I visit them to make the most of the time there. I also love animals, having been a vegetarian for 40+ years.
I am on the curvy side of perfection - so if you’re looking for someone slim, I’m not for you. However, recent health challenges have made me prioritise my lifestyle, so getting fit is most certainly near the top of the to do list. A side note - I’ve realised that a lot of men who have caught my attention don’t like tattoos. So I should add here that I do have a few. No apologies, no regrets. But having tattoos doesn’t mean I’m not a good person.

Hoping I can find a practical man who understands that family is important. Someone with a sense of humour but not offensive, respectful and open minded. Someone who is just as happy to stay home and binge watch a series on tv as he is to go out for a walk along the coast or go watch motor racing or a theatre show.
