People should get to know me because I combine strength, wisdom, and warmth in a way that hopefully makes life richer for those around me. I’m looking for friends and companions first. I’m still divorcing, so it’s complicated and after 23 years with the ex, I’m not in a hurry to find the next guy or used to online dating yet. I’m a rookie DIY enthusiast and would love to meet someone who’s good at most stuff. I’m a keen Gardener (get things wrong but I try) and I’m not a bad cook but need someone to cook for to be inspired to do it. Equally love eating out or a cheeky takeaway or ping meal. I like nights out, long walks, (countryside or beach), and I love a good pub and social gatherings. Don’t want much out of a new friend, just kindness, sense of humour, great honesty and patience. I will hold my own and don’t suffer fools, but like someone with an opinion of their own and who will respect my opinion. Politically I hope we agree. I’ll share that in person at a later date though. It’s not bad but you should never discuss religion, politics or money.

I’m astute and I work people out quickly, so I’m not interested if you’re gonna lie to me. Most of all I value fairness and kindness. There’s no I in team. Friends first and no mad expectations of me to begin with and we’ll see where it goes.
