By day I'm a mild mannered Project Manager, building a great team, helping to decommission old Nuclear Power Stations.
By night (and in my 3 day weekends) I'm a lapsed bass playing rock god, long distance cycling super hero amongst other things. Which means MAMIL Am I still middle aged? Do I need to ditch the lycra? Hmmmm. I do have aspirations to be a self sufficient gardening eco futurologist.
A past attempt at a new chapter spluttered and faltered — lessons learned, starting again, acceptance, a bit more caution a bit less haste, more self awareness is the agenda now..
Love sharp, challenging conversation. I'm a big picture strategic thinker — the environment, political economist, humanity, carefully and thoughtfully exploring ideas, finding solutions, making plans, building intentions and taking action towards building a better, more hopeful world of abundance for all.
I thrive in small, intimate circles. My energy is depleted in big crowds. I love to host home-made, plant-based meals for family and friends.
Currently fixing a health hiccup, but cycling has always been my main way to stay sane and fit — determined to get back on two wheels properly next year. Tai Chi is helping in the meantime; turns out slow and deliberate has its charms.
