I have always loved travelling, but also enjoying coming home to my house, garden and two cats.
I've been very lucky to have so far lived a full and interesting life, from personal and working perspectives.
My successful working life has enabled me to enjoy my passion for travelling the world. I especially enjoy going to unusual places. Such as touring Cuba. And touring Sri Lanka for 3 weeks in a taxi. But I really like British summers - the UK is a beautiful place. So I now prefer to go abroad in our Winter - which I am not so keen on.
When at home I love cooking, and can usually turn out most dishes with varying degrees of competency.
I also like reading - especially historical novels.

I hope to meet a woman with whom I share the same values. This would be someone who wants to enjoy the life they have, rather than dwelling on regrets about what they haven't done in the past.
I don't mind what level of education someone has, but I prefer being with someone who has an enquiring mind, and who is able to question the status quo.
