This is the first time I’ve ever done anything like this, so feeling somewhat apprehensive!
It’s nearly 4 years since losing my soulmate, and whilst I have good friends and keep active, I often recently find myself thinking that I’m now ready to try and find and enjoy the company of another special man in my life in the coming years.
Is it possible? Who knows? But it won’t happen without trying!
It seems a waste to not give what I feel I have to a future friendship and hopefully an ongoing strong and loving partnership, Friends describe me as sincere, happy, approachable, helpful, caring, generous and fun to be with, and have recently said I do a lot for others and now’s the time I should think and do more for my own happiness.
I enjoy country and coastal walking in good company, and together with regular visits to a small local gym am keeping generally healthy. I love entertaining, cooking and music, so can often be found in the kitchen trying a new recipe with the radio on! I enjoy eating in or out too, cinema/theatre visits and sometimes just relaxing chatting, watching tv or with a good book.
Travel and exploring at home or abroad has given pleasure in the past, and it would be great to find a best mate with whom to plan and share similar experiences again.
My outlook is mostly optimistic. Yes, life deals us all unexpected challenges - but even when I’m feeling down, I tell myself tomorrow is another day and things will look different!
