About her
I'm single, healthy and lead an active lifestyle. I have great friends and family. I enjoy socialising, and connecting with others. I'm also happy to have time to myself to pursue my interests.
I love being outdoors in the countryside and by the coast, but equally, I enjoy exploring cities and places of interest. I like to watch dramas and psychological thrillers, but dislike cookery and food programmes. I'm not really a 'foodie' but enjoy dining out occasionally.
My interests are singing (I'm in two choirs), learning to paint (I go to art classes), walking (I belong to a few walking groups) and I'm also partial to a bit of Ceroc (modern jive). I'm retired from a career in education and I now enjoy volunteering as a coach for a charity which helps adults to read. For fun I go to see live bands, attend concerts, visit the theatre and go on day trips. I holiday at home and abroad.
My children are very important to me. I love to spend quality time with them, however this doesn't happen often as they don't live near me and have their own careers. I don't have grandchildren.
I can be serious, when the occasion requires, but also lighthearted, smiley and some even say funny. I'm very happy and thankful for my health and lifestyle but having that special someone to share it with would be the icing on the cake.

It would be great to meet someone who is keen to build a new relationship, starting with friendship first and see how it goes. A man who likes to chat about anything and everything and is genuinely curious, respectful and honest. I can offer him the same. If he liked travelling at home and abroad, that would be a bonus.
