A Positive, cheerful romantic optimist, which is why I am here!
Politically left of centre I dislike bigotry, ignorance and laziness. I enjoy lively informed conversation on just about anything. My house is usually filled with music to lift the spirits and suit the mood. The kitchen in my home is the hub, a lively social area but I do need someone to share it with, to dance around the table....
I enjoy preparing and cooking the catch of the day from my sea going boat or trout from fly fishing trips.
I play league table tennis and enjoy working with and talking to the local badgers, foxes and red squirrels in my garden (they steal my apples and nuts) and we don't always agree on what should be planted where.
I take a lot of pleasure from music and the arts although I have no expertise. I am quite a sociable individual but also content with my own company. Most recently I have joined a creative writing group, writing for family and for pleasure. I enjoy good health although I did lose a leg aged 10 yrs so you will understand I am not into long walks, skiing or cycling, but will be here when you get back, ready and interested to hear all about it!
