I've been widowed for a couple of years now and I'm now looking to live life again, it's not so much fun doing everything on your own, So I'm looking for someone who shares some of my interests for friendship and companionship, that hopefully could develop into something more, someone who would enjoy days out together etc, so preferably someone living within a commutable distance.
I like spur of the moment days out to visit places of interest, spontaneous trips to the seaside and walking along the shoreline barefoot, short breaks to either the countryside or seaside, dining in cosy pubs/restaurants (but don't like Indian or Chinese food!😝), or just cosy nights in snuggled up on the sofa . I enjoy visiting historic houses and gardens. I have a very varied taste in music and like going to the theatre, especially concerts and musicals. I'm a avid reader and especially enjoy a good crime novel.

My friends would describe me as someone who is a little reserved until I get to know people but will then open up to the real me, sensitive, caring with a good sense of humour🙂.
